Portable cries out as Ogun seals building, hotel
Controversial singer Portable has expressed frustration after the Ogun State Government sealed his uncompleted building and hotel.
According to the letter posted online, the government’s action was due to alleged illegal development without an approval permit.
Portable alleged the government’s raid resulted in the arrest of over 20 people, including artists, customers, and individuals who had come to him for help.
He alleged that the authorities also confiscated cars, bikes and phones.
The singer argued that he was using the building to host events and shows, not just to sell drinks.
He also claimed that he was promoting and helping people through his business.
He questioned why the government would shut down his property, which he uses to support his family.
“I believe in Eledumare Nobody can fall me Ọmọ Olohun. They pack everybody, they took more than 20 people both Artist and customers and they pack cars and bikes including peoples phone and job. All the people that came for help they pack them and they seal my new uncompleted building and hotel. Why? In my home town and we no follow them fight, pack all the drink that we are selling at ODOWGU bar and food. WHY? Government should please look into this.
