PDP Affirms Udeh-Okoye As National Secretary, Condemns Attack On Journalist

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has confirmed that Sunday Udeh-Okoye is indeed the party's National Secretary, as affirmed by the Court of Appeal. This decision was made after the court upheld the judgment of the High Court, which removed Sen. Samuel Anyanwu as the PDP National Secretary. The party's National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, stated that the PDP will comply with the court's orders and respect the judicial process.

In other news, the PDP has strongly condemned the attack on a journalist, Ndubuisi Orji, by a staff member of the party's national secretariat. The incident occurred when the staff member, Emmanuel Okoronkwo, physically assaulted Orji and prevented other journalists from entering the secretariat. Ologunagba apologized for the incident and assured that the party will handle the matter in accordance with its code of conduct. He also emphasized the PDP's commitment to freedom of the press and its respect for the media.
