Brighton & Hove Albion secured a stunning 3-0 victory over Chelsea in their Premier League match, thanks to a brilliant performance from Yankuba Minteh, who scored a double, and Kaoru Mitoma's magical opener.

The match got off to a closely contested start, with Chelsea's Cole Palmer going close, but it was Mitoma who stole the show with his incredible goal in the 27th minute. The Japanese international controlled a long ball from Bart Verbruggen with a sublime touch, skipped inside Trevoh Chalobah, and bent a right-footed shot into the bottom right-hand corner.

Brighton doubled their lead just seven minutes before halftime, courtesy of Minteh's first goal. Georginio Rutter's cross was partially blocked by Levi Colwill, but Danny Welbeck picked up the loose ball and fed Minteh, who stepped inside Marc Cucurella and lashed home.

Chelsea's struggles continued in the second half, with Minteh sealing the win for Brighton in the 63rd minute. The Gambia winger combined with Welbeck once again, stepped inside Cucurella, and fired past Filip Jorgensen to make it 3-0.

The defeat marks Chelsea's second consecutive loss to Brighton, and their fourth in the Premier League this season. The Blues struggled to create clear opportunities, with zero shots on target throughout the game.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca apologized to the fans after the game, stating that it was the worst performance since he arrived. "Tonight is the worst performance since I arrived, but we are still in the race to finish in the top four," he said.

Brighton, on the other hand, moved up to eighth in the Premier League table, thanks to their impressive win. The Seagulls will look to build on this momentum in their upcoming matches.
