KLM Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Norway

A KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flight from Oslo to Amsterdam made an emergency landing at Oslo Torp Sandefjord Airport in Norway on December 28 after experiencing a hydraulic failure shortly after takeoff. The Boeing 737-800, carrying 176 passengers and six crew members, safely landed but skidded off runway 18 and came to a stop in soft grass near a taxiway.

Fortunately, all 182 people on board were unharmed, and passengers were evacuated using mobile stairs. Emergency responders quickly arrived to assist. The incident is currently under investigation.

KLM has reassured that the passengers and crew are being cared for, and an investigation into the incident is underway. The airline's prompt response and the effective emergency procedures in place ensured the safety of everyone on board.
