
Gov Abiodun, Gbenga Daniel, others mourn Pa Adebanjo
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and former Governor Gbenga Daniel have joined other prominent Nigerians in mourning the passing of Pa Adebanjo, a respected figure in Nigerian politics.
Governor Abiodun, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin, described Pa Adebanjo as a "great nationalist, astute politician, and elder statesman."
The governor noted that Pa Adebanjo's contributions to Nigeria's development, particularly in the areas of politics and governance, would never be forgotten. He commiserated with the family of the deceased and the people of Ogun State, urging them to take solace in the good life Pa Adebanjo lived.
Similarly, former Governor Gbenga Daniel, in a condolence message, described Pa Adebanjo as a "father figure, mentor, and role model."
Daniel recalled Pa Adebanjo's role in his own political journey, saying that the deceased was a source of inspiration and guidance to him. He prayed that God would grant Pa Adebanjo's soul eternal rest.
Other prominent Nigerians, including politicians, business leaders, and traditional rulers, have also paid tribute to Pa Adebanjo, celebrating his life, legacy, and contributions to Nigerian politics and society.
