Veteran Nollywood actor Columbus Irisoanga has passed away. The news was confirmed by actress Hilda Dokubo, who shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, expressing her shock and sorrow over his passing. 

Irisoanga was a renowned actor, best known for his iconic role as Chief Priest Igbudu in the 2001 Nollywood hit "Issakaba". He was not only a talented actor but also an academic, serving as a senior lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt, where he earned his bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees. 

The Nollywood community is mourning the loss of Irisoanga, who was a respected figure in Rivers State. His passing comes on the heels of the death of actress Pat Ugwu, who also left a significant impact on the industry.
