Dangote Refinery
Dangote Refinery has made history by exporting jet fuel to Saudi Aramco, a first for an African country. This milestone establishes the refinery as a global leader in the industry. The refinery, which started production in January last year, has the capacity to refine up to 650,000 barrels per day of products.

The export of two cargoes of jet fuel to Saudi Aramco is a significant achievement, considering the refinery's rapid ramp-up of operations. This development is expected to shake up established West African trade flows. Interestingly, this is not the refinery's first export; last year, it sold its first jet fuel cargo to British Petroleum (BP).

The Dangote Refinery's success has also led to new trade flows, including the export of low-sulphur straight-run fuel oil to Singapore, Asia's oil hub. The refinery's ability to produce high-quality products has opened up new markets and opportunities for the company.
