Dangote crashes petrol price to N890 per litre

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of petrol, from N950 to N890 per litre, effective from Saturday. This move is in response to favourable developments in the global energy sector and a significant decline in international crude oil prices.

According to Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, this price adjustment reflects Dangote Refinery's commitment to aligning with market realities and ensuring that consumers benefit from changes in international crude oil prices.

The price reduction is expected to significantly lower the cost of petrol across Nigeria, generating a positive ripple effect throughout the broader economy. Dangote Refinery has also called on marketers to ensure that the benefits of the reduced price are passed on to the Nigerian public.
