Benue inaugurates four factories to boost IGR, employment

In a bid to stimulate economic growth and create job opportunities for its citizens, the Benue State Government has inaugurated four new factories in the state. The factories, which were established under the Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC) Limited, are expected to give the state's economy a significant boost and increase its internally generated revenue (IGR).

The four factories inaugurated include a polythene and nylon bag factory, a nails factory, and the expansion of bread and water production facilities. The managing director of BIPC, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha, noted that the commissioned projects have already created over 400 jobs since the inception of Governor Alia's administration. This is a significant achievement, considering the high rate of unemployment in the state.

The inauguration of the factories is a welcome development for the people of Benue State, who have been facing economic challenges in recent years.
