Apple's latest update has brought Truecaller's real-time caller ID feature to iPhones, allowing users to identify incoming calls and block spam calls more effectively. This feature uses Apple's Live Caller ID Lookup framework, which enables third-party apps like Truecaller to deliver live caller identification in a privacy-preserving way.

With this update, iPhone users can now enjoy the same robust caller ID experience as Android users. The feature is available for users with iOS 18.2 or later, and Truecaller Premium users will get access to additional features like auto-blocking of spam calls and advanced caller identification.

To enable the real-time caller ID feature on your iPhone, go to Settings > Apps > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification, and toggle on the Truecaller switches. You'll also need to have the latest version of Truecaller, which is version 14.0 or later.

This update is a significant improvement for iPhone users, who can now enjoy enhanced caller ID and spam-blocking capabilities. As Truecaller's CEO, Rishit Jhunjhunwala, noted, "We are excited to bring the full power of Truecaller to iPhone... This update does that and more while preserving privacy for all calling activity".
