APC Chieftain Urges Federal Actions as Bello Turji Threatens Attack on Zamfara, Sokoto Community

A prominent APC chieftain, Dr. Sani Shinkafi, has urged President Bola Tinubu to take immediate action against Bello Turji, a notorious bandit leader who's threatening to attack communities in Zamfara and Sokoto states. Turji's threats came after his ally, Bako Wurgi, was arrested by security operatives at a hospital in Shinkafi.

In a video, Turji warned that he would render towns and villages in Shinkafi, Zurmi, and Isa uninhabitable if his demands aren't met. This has raised fears among residents, who are calling for increased security measures to protect their communities.

Dr. Shinkafi emphasized the need for a swift and coordinated response to neutralize the growing security risk posed by Turji and his gang. He also called for collaboration between the governments of Sokoto and Zamfara states to engage with President Tinubu and develop a robust strategy to address the threat.
