BMW has announced the 2026 iX electric SUV, boasting improved range, enhanced performance, and a dramatically reduced price point. The new entry-level xDrive45 model starts at $75,100, making it more accessible to buyers.

The 2026 BMW iX xDrive45 comes with a dual-motor setup, producing 402 horsepower and 564 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and offers an estimated 312 miles of range on a single charge.

In addition to the new entry-level model, the xDrive60 returns with improved range, now estimated at 340 miles. The high-performance M70 model boasts 650 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque, accelerating from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.

Design updates for the 2026 BMW iX include a redesigned grille, new headlights, and a more seamless front and rear apron design. The interior features a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a range of premium materials.
